Tesco Direct

CHALLENGE

Tesco direct, was set up in 2006 to offer consumers – products, furniture, electronics in the non-food sector to rival established competitors. The aim was to be become the largest supplier of non-food products available online and in-store.

SOLUTION

I was an integral part of the design team, producing half-yearly catalogues, promotional flyers, aiding art direction, assisting on photoshoots and producing various other point of sale material.

RESULT

An established online retail website which current sits in the top 10 of all grossing websites in the UK.

Trinity Mirror

CHALLENGE

Trinity Mirror plc is the largest British newspaper, magazine and digital publisher, and I had the pleasure of working at Canary Wharf HQ for five years in the advertising department. Over this time I worked on projects with every major brand you can think off – Aldi, Co-Op, British Gas, E.ON, Snickers, National Express, John Smiths, Shell, Pride of Britain and more!

SOLUTION

I was an integral part of the innovations team, and our solution was fitting ad sponsored features into the newspaper arena – producing bespoke 4/8 Page advertising feature, display ads and web based ads strategically placed within the newspaper titles – Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and Sunday People.

RESULT

Results speak for themselves right?

Featured in the Who’s Who UK publication, 2010.

Vinci

CHALLENGE

VINCI Construction UK is a national construction and facilities company and is the largest British subsidiary of VINCI UK. Our brief was to assist in producing the annual report.

SOLUTION

We wanted to produce an eye catching annual report, a report which was worthy of picking up and we are super impressed with the outcome, if we say so ourselves.

RESULT

But don’t take out work for it – “James is a very talented designer – he has a great eye for detail and produces excellent work. He’s also a pleasure to work with! Highly recommended.” Martin Boyle, Marketing Campaign Manager VINCI UK.

Scarlett & Stone

CHALLENGE

Scarlett & Stone is a salon situated in the centre of Great Dunmow. Our aim was to establish the brand, create a sophisticated look and feel of the salon to ensure its the place to go to for a truly professional beauty experience.

SOLUTION

Our brief was to produce the brand identity, and to assist with the shop front fascia.

RESULT

Now an award-winning salon which is heads and shoulders above the competitors in the local area.

CAKE

CHALLENGE

First there was cash, then card now CAKE. CAKE is a brand new mobile paying app which is looking to attract business customers.

SOLUTION

Our brief was to produce a highly polished sales pitch presentation along with an A5 leave behind sales flyer.

RESULT

Up take of the app has been fantastic, the sales guys are able to pitch to businesses in a professional manner.

Foodora

CHALLENGE

Since its launch in October 2014, foodora has become the leading food delivery company in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Dubai and Hong Kong, with NEW acquisitions made in Canada, Australia and Austria. Foodora entered the highly competitive UK food delivery market in August 2015, and needed to make fast impact attracting new b2b customers. James Sheridan was requested to launch sales tools, supporting sales teams and bring growth to the rapid growth to the UK business.

SOLUTION

Our brief was to produce a highly polished sales pitch presentation along with an A4 leave behind sales flyer for UK and Hong Kong sales team.

RESULT

A takeaway success… but due to the ever so competitive market in the UK, Foodora has since been sold its UK division to Delivery Hero but the business still operates across 14 different countries.

Better Retirement Group

CHALLENGE

Better Retirement Group (BRG) consist of financial planners and advisers on retirement. Recent changes in the law has made it much easier to make positive  changes to our pensions, BRG used the services of James Sheridan to produce a series of trade press ads which featured within the Trinity Mirror titles – Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror, Sunday People.

SOLUTION

Working with the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and Sunday People we set upon producing a series of ads which the newspaper would carry in its publication for two years. The ads used both editorial and advertising look and feel over various different formats over a two year period.

RESULT

Greater awareness of the BRG brand, noted increase in customer advice & support and the business is going from strength to strength.

Custom Climates

CHALLENGE

Custom Climates offer an affordable solution to heating your home using air pumps, James Sheridan was tasked to help brand, design and create marketing attributes to raise the company profile.

SOLUTION

We produced a stationary pack – business cards, flyers and drew bespoke van graphics. We all know ‘White Van Man’ has a stigma attached about it, so firstly we changed the look and feel of the van to be visual, professional an informative acting as a mobile advertising board.

RESULT

Improved branding, increased sales and the within a week of the van being launched two sales were generated from the roadside. Recently Custom Climates have been commissioned in Spain due to the strong branding on the van!

Beautiful Horizon Landscapes

CHALLENGE

New start up business – Beautiful Horizon Landscapes (BHL) meet colleagues at James Sheridan whilst playing five a side football. A crunching tackle ending up becoming great business success. Andrew McKenna CEO of BHL worked for a national landscaping business first before sowing his own seeds and launching BHL in 2013, our challenge was to create the brand and produce uniforms, website, business cards and vehicle graphics.

SOLUTION

We invested time in producing a brand which reflected the ethics of the business. The work BHL is second to none, and we wanted to echo these thoughts with the branding, uniforms and vehicle graphics. The oak tree silhouette was a key feature, demonstrating strength and using an iconic British icon. Underneath the tree is the brand name,  the roots of the business.

RESULT

Beautiful Horizon Landscapes is blooming success, and is growing year on year. We so pleased to offer our services and with much joy BHL have been asked to exhibit at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2016, James Sheridan will be attending and assisting on all future projects on the back of this fantastic news!
